The ECHL Department of Player’s Safety has announced that they have suspended Trois-Rivieres Lions forward Jonathan Yantsis for nine additional games for his actions on Saturday Night as he cross-checked Norfolk Admirals defenseman Darick Louis-Jean.

The ECHL Department of Players Safety has announced that Trois-Rivieres Lions forward Jonathan Yantsis has been suspended indefinitely pending review and fined an undisclosed amount for his actions at the 11:29 mark of the second period in Game 5 vs Norfolk Admirals.
