Apparently, the Green Bay Packers forgot they were underdogs against the Detroit Lions.
On the game's first play, Packers quarterback Jordan Love connected with wide receiver Christian Watson on a 53-yard completion. The big gain set up a 10-yard TD by WR Jayden Reed, giving Green Bay a 7-0 lead with 12:16 remaining in the first quarter.

The Packers (4-6) are still in the playoff hunt, but their postseason hopes are slim. The New York Times Simulator notes they have a 25 percent chance to make the postseason. If they beat Detroit (8-2), their odds increase to 44 percent, but if they lose, their odds fall to 19 percent.
It's an important game for Love, too. In his first season as the full-time starter, the 25-year-old has been inconsistent. Entering Week 12, he's completed 59.7 percent of his passes for 2,331 yards, 16 TDs, 10 interceptions and a below-average 47.3 QBR.
