The Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving is off to a rough start.
Against Green Bay, Detroit quarterback Jared Goff fumbled, and Packers cornerback Jonathan Owens returned it for a 27-yard TD, giving them a 20-6 lead with 2:23 remaining in the first quarter. The Packers missed the extra-point attempt.

The Lions (8-2) had four turnovers in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. Goff threw a season-high three interceptions. However, Detroit scored 17 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 31-26 win.
Still, it's surprising to see Goff's turnover problem carry over into a second straight game. Entering Week 12, he's completed 68.1 percent of his passes for 2,743 yards, 16 TDs, eight interceptions, an above-average 64 QBR and had no fumbles.
Detriot hasn't won its annual Thanksgiving game since 2016. Perhaps the team feels extra pressure, explaining its poor performance. Regardless, the Lions must get it together and mount a comeback.
