NHL bets: Three plus-money plays for Wednesday 4/10

Fresh off an article sweep of our plays, we're back for more in the NHL prop market. There's just a trio of games today, and until we get clarity on Connor McDavid, it's best we focus elsewhere.

Both St. Louis and Vancouver are motivated to win here, and we've got just the path to take off that belief.

Jordan Kyrou point & Quinn Hughes over 2.5 SOG (+145 DraftKings)

The biggest downside to this combo in my eyes is pairing an early game look with the last game of the night. The delayed gratification I foresee is just the price to pay to combine my clear two favorite prop looks today.

I love Jordan Kyrou to produce today for St. Louis in a game that they have to have if they want any chance at a wild-card spot. The Blues should be able to find 3+ goals, and there's also a power-play edge that exists for St. Louis.

Kyrou has five PPP in his last three games, which is one of the reasons he got on my radar. That, plus he loves Chicago, with a point in eight of his last 10 matchups (11 total).

I couldn't quite find a running mate for his point on the Blues end, as some of the names I would have preferred to pair him with (Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich) are up at 1.5 lines.

Instead, we pair him with Quinn Hughes to go over 2.5 SOG once again in a soft matchup. Arizona is allowing the fourth-most shots to defensemen over the last 10 games and Hughes is over this number in six straight games.

Hughes is also one of Vancouver's leading power-play shooters, a good role to have against a Coyotes team allowing 4.0 power-play opportunities per game on the road across the last month.

Hughes has 4+ shots in three straight at home and three of his last four against Arizona.

Remember way back two paragraphs ago when I mentioned how many power plays Arizona has been handing out? Well, that problem is compounded by a 75% penalty kill on the road over the last 30 days.

The Coyotes have allowed seven power-play goals over their past seven games, and the Canucks' power play has been humming along, notching six goals a man-up across their past five games.

It's Miller and Hughes easily pacing Vancouver in power play production over their past 10 games, each notching eight PPP in that span.

It seems the Canucks and Coyotes may have signed a contract that requires Vancouver to score a power-play goal against Arizona, as they've notched at least one in nine of the past 10 meetings (15 total).

I'll gladly spread the net on the two most involved power-play skaters getting in on the fun. Here's to them hitting on the same goal.

Note: if I could have, I would have just parlayed these two to each get a point (check Bet365 if you have access). Both are up at 1.5 lines, so I'm going this route instead.

Miller has a PPP in six of his past eight against Arizona and Hughes has a PPP in five of his last six against the Yotes.
