Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn't shying away from Super Bowl guarantees.
During a recent appearance on "Impaulsive with Logan Paul," Mahomes predicted the Chiefs would run "Corndog," the play that helped them win Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers. They also ran this play on a five-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kadarius Toney in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.

"That play was freaking sweet, man," Mahomes said. "We ran the Corndog one against the Eagles. Sorry, it was a touchdown. Won the game. Then, we were going to run a fake version of that [against the 49ers] and then do a little shovel pass, and it was wide open again. So, next year in New Orleans, we're going to do it again. Put it on the table."
Mahomes seemed to be joking around in the clip, but he has plenty of reasons to feel confident about the Chiefs' championship chances heading into this upcoming season.
Kansas City kept its roster intact, re-signing defensive tackle Chris Jones (five years, $158.75M) and giving tight end Travis Kelce a new deal (two years, $34.25M).
The Chiefs also upgraded their receiving corps, signing WR Marquise Brown (one year, $7M) in free agency and taking Texas' Xavier Worthy with the 28th overall pick of the NFL Draft.
No team has three-peated in the Super Bowl era. The Chiefs face stiff competition in the AFC, which includes championship contenders in the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills.
However, it's hard to bet against Kansas City and Mahomes. As of Thursday, FanDuel gives the Chiefs the second-best Super Bowl LIX odds (+600) behind the 49ers.
