Estevao Willian, the latest standout from South America emerging from Palmeiras, has been attracting the attention of top European clubs. The latest information regarding the teenager reveals one team isn’t keen on pursuing the player.
GOAL Brasil reports that PSG are one of the clubs that have shown interest in the 17-year-old player known as Messinho. The other clubs keen on the player are Chelsea and FC Barcelona. However, as of now, no clubs have made any official offers.
Nonetheless, one club that doesn’t plan on pursuing the Brazilian is Real Madrid. According to Diario AS, Real Madrid are not interested in signing Willian as they have set their sights on Franco Mastantuono, the gem of River Plate’s youth academy.
The club has made a move for the player after initiating initial contact with the Argentine club’s management.
Palmeiras are anticipating receiving the net value of the release clause, which is €45 million. This implies that the interested clubs will need to cover the taxes for the deal, bringing the total fee to approximately €55 million.
