The goalkeeping position at Paris Saint-Germain has been the subject of rumor in recent weeks. Despite having Gianluigi Donnarumma, the Parisians have been linked with players who could potentially replace the Italian. However, that might not be the case.
Reports have linked PSG to AC Milan’s Mike Maignan and Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin as the capital club could search for a shot-stopper that fits the way manager Luis Enrique wants to play.
Nonetheless, a report from transfer window specialist Gianluca Di Marzio reveals that the Lige 1 side might not be looking for a No. 1 goalkeeper after all. According to Di Marzio, there’s a meeting planned in the coming weeks to extend Donnarumma’s contract.
He’s keen on continuing his career in Paris and dreams of becoming the team’s captain. At the end of the season, PSG will meet with the player’s agent, Enzo Raiola. If both sides find common ground, then it seems that the 25-year-old will be in the French capital for the foreseeable future.
Selon Di Marzio, réunion dans les prochaines semaines pour prolonger Donnarumma, qui aimerait poursuivre sa carrière à Paris, avec une équipe dont il rêve de devenir capitaine.
