Canada plays Hungary in a pre-tournament game today.
Former members of Team Canada Macklin Celebrini and Adam Fantilli have opted to return home and not participate in the tournament.
Dubois recently finished his first season with the Los Angeles Kings. The 25-year-old recorded 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists) in the regular season and helped the Kings clinch the top wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
Dubois added one goal in five playoff games as LA fell to the Edmonton Oilers in the first round.
A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, Dubois will be playing in his fourth World Championships (2018. 2019, 2022).
Hagel was the second leading scorer for the Tampa Bay Lighting, behind Hart Trophy finalist Nikita Kucherov. Hagel finished with 75 points (26 goals, 49 assists) in the regular season.
In the playoffs, Hagel was one of Tampa’s best players, racking up five points (three goals, two assists) in a five-game series loss to the Florida Panthers.
Hagel was a member of Team Canada at the 2022 World Championships.
Paul, along with Hagel, was an important member of the Lightning this season. After bursting onto the scene in the Stanley Cup Playoffs a few years back, Paul has recorded career-highs with each passing season.
The Ontario native tallied 46 points (24 goals, 22 assists) and played all 82 regular-season games for the Bolts. He added two goals in five playoff games.
Paul also played for Canada at the 2021 World Championships.
The 2024 Men’s World Championships begin May 10 in Prague and Ostrava, Czechia. Team Canada begins pre-tournament play on Tuesday against Hungary.
