Las Vegas signed guard Jackie Young, an All-Star the past two seasons as the Aces won consecutive WNBA championships, to a contract extension through 2025.
Young, 26, has been with the Aces since they selected her No. 1 in the 2019 WNBA Draft out of Notre Dame. She has averaged 13.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 162 games (140 starts).
She shot 47.5% from the floor, 41.2% from long range and 84.8% from the free-throw line.
Last season, Young averaged a career-best 17.6 points in being selected to the 2023 All-WNBA second team. She was voted the WNBA Most Improved Player in 2022 and to the All-Rookie first team in 2019.
"Jackie Young is a force to be reckoned with in the WNBA and one of the most dynamic shooting guards in the world," Aces general manager Natalie Williams said in a statement Saturday. "Signing Jackie to an extension through 2025 was absolutely a priority for us. Watching Jackie's growth, I believe she could be vying for that MVP title this season."
Las Vegas signed star point guard Chelsea Gray to an extension through 2025 on Wednesday.
