The Cleveland Browns returned as an expansion team in 1999 after the original team moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens in 1996. The Browns stadium was built quickly so Cleveland could get a team as soon as possible.

If the Browns were to get a new dome stadium, it would be great news for Northeast Ohio. The area has been prevented from hosting big-time events like the NCAA basketball Final Four or even the Super Bowl because it doesn’t have a dome, and if they get one, they can be in the running to host one of those events every so often.
It also would be good news for Browns fans who don’t want to sit in the cold in the winter and watch their team play. More people will go to the games now, and the dome is excellent news for every Browns fan.
