Los Angeles Chargers reportedly targeting AFC West rival weapon

As the 2024 NFL Draft approached, the Los Angeles Chargers were among the franchises widely expected to target improving their receiving corps.

With talents like Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze on the board, the Chargers seemed poised to add firepower to their offense. However, the team took an unexpected turn, prioritizing protection for their star quarterback, Justin Herbert, by selecting the draft’s premier offensive lineman, Joe Alt.

The Chargers definitely surprised fans and analysts by prioritizing the trenches.
