Things are looking up in Phoenix, where the Suns have landed in sixth place in the Western Conference as the regular season nears an end. The squad is nearly at .600 and they’re just eight games behind the leading team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Will Booker and Durant take the Suns all the way to the championship? The next few months will tell, and you don’t want to miss a play.
If you want to stream the Suns live without the high cost of cable, you’ve come to the right place. Our guide helps you find which channels the Suns games are on and which sports streaming platforms work best for your viewing needs.
The Suns aired 70 of their games on a platform called Suns Live during the 2023-2024 season. This streaming service is offered by Arizona’s Family and Kiswe exclusively to residents of Arizona and the Albuquerque metro area. If your zip code qualifies you for service, you can also watch it while you travel for up to 30 days without logging in within the regular coverage area. The platform also offers Mercury coverage and costs $14.99 per month or $109.99 per season.
For all games not airing on Suns Live or for people who are outside the coverage area, you’ll want to have access to national platforms.Phoenix games air on ABC, TNT and ESPN. NBA TV is also a wise option to consider since you can access games and game highlights, stay up to date on league news and watch replays of classic Suns games.
Below is a look at which channels each streaming platform carries:

DISH offers ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV in its standard channel package. While you have to get a satellite to enjoy DISH service, the company offers free installation, often on the same day.
All customers are given a 2-year price guarantee from the date of sign-up and 2,000 hours of DVR space. DISH also offers a variety of sports networks beyond those offering Phoenix Suns coverage. Channels for sports fans include Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, NHL Network, ESPN 2, PAC-12 Network and SEC Network. There is also a Multi-Sport Pack available for $13 per month. This unlocks networks like NFL RedZone, Fox Sports 2 and ACC Network.
DIRECTV STREAM is a great entertainment hub, as it houses other apps like ESPN, NBA League Pass and more. With its Choice package, you’ll be able to stream NBA games on ESPN, TNT, NBA TV and ABC.
Like all streaming platforms with the Suns, this service works best as a supplement. If you’re living in Phoenix, then the Suns Live service will give you a ticket to the rest of the action. Meanwhile, if you live outside of Arizona, you can buy a subscription to NBA League Pass. Overall, DIRECTV STREAM is among the most expensive streaming platform options, but you do receive a good variety of channels and unlimited recording space.
Fubo’s base package includes access to over 100 channels, including regional sports networks and 1,000 hours of cloud-based DVR.
For Suns fans, you’ll be able to stream other games through NBA TV, ESPN and ABC. The only downside is that Fubo doesn’t have TNT. This means you might miss out on some primetime and playoff games. Fubo does offer a seven-day free trial, which is a smart way to become acclimated to its user interface.
Hulu + Live TV combines livestreaming sports with access to diverse entertainment offerings through their on-demand service. Plus, a Hulu + Live TV subscription comes with access to ESPN Plus and Disney Plus for an even more extensive content library.
On the live TV side, you’ll have over 95 channels and unlimited recording space. You can keep recordings for up to nine months. Suns fans will love that you can stream games on TNT, ABC and ESPN. You don’t receive NBA TV with the service, but you can always subscribe to NBA League Pass to complement coverage. Other sports channels available from Hulu + Live TV include Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Big 10 Network, ACC Network and NFL Network.
Sling TV is on the lower end of the cost spectrum, but still comes with plenty of content on Sling Orange or Sling Blue. You can also combine Sling Orange and Sling Blue with the Sling Orange & Blue Plan for access to the full channel lineup. Each plan allows you to record up to 50 hours of content, or you can upgrade to 200 hours for another $5 per month.
The Sling Orange package works best for Suns fans, as it has ESPN and TNT. You can also add NBA TV through their Sports Extra package for another $11 per month. One of the drawbacks of this service is that ABC isn’t available on Sling in the Phoenix market. This means you could miss primetime, playoff and NBA Finals games. On the other hand, channels like Fox Sports 1 and NFL Network are available.
YouTube TV’s base plan comes with over 100 channels and unlimited recording space. The service carries ESPN, ABC, NBA TV and TNT, so you’ll be able to stream games not airing on the Suns Live service.
Also, YouTube TV allows you to add-on services. This means if you’re an out-of-market Phoenix Suns fan, you can subscribe to NBA League Pass and use the service through your YouTube TV subscription. Overall, YouTube TV is one of the best live TV streaming platforms for channel offerings, ease of use and its unique add-on content.
For Suns fans not living in Arizona, NBA League Pass can replace the local coverage you’re lacking. It allows you to stream up to four games live, watch replays of older games, and access stats, analysis and press conferences.
You can sign up for the service through the NBA’s website or by adding it to your existing streaming TV subscription. When you sign up, it’ll tell you which NBA team near you is subject to blackout restrictions. This is important because if that team hosts the Suns during the regular or postseason, you won’t be able to stream it live.
NBA League Pass starts from $14.99 per month for its base package. If you want to stream from more than one device, you can upgrade to the Premium plan for $22.99 per month. The Premium plan also offers live in-arena streaming and other extras.
The Phoenix Suns air on Suns Live, as well as ABC, ESPN and TNT. You can also watch some Suns games on NBA TV. Getting an NBA League Pass will help you watch out-of-market games and catch up on highlights and interviews.
Blackouts happen when another company has exclusive rights to broadcast a game in your area. This is why you’ll want to make sure you have either Suns Live or NBA League Pass to stream the most games live.
You’ll need an NBA League Pass subscription. This allows you to stream all Suns games unless blackout restrictions apply.
