The Warriors are in the bottom third of the Western Conference as the 2023-2024 season quickly approaches the playoffs. Still, the squad is over .500 and hot on the heels of the Los Angeles Lakers. With stars like Stephan Curry, Draymond Green and Chris Paul in the lineup, you can never count the Warriors out. And you never have to miss any of the action, even if you’re not living in the Bay Area.
If you’re a cord-cutting Dubs fan who wants to watch the team this year, you’re in luck. You can find a majority of Warriors games on popular live TV streaming services.
Most nationally-aired NBA games, including the Warriors, air on ABC, ESPN and TNT. More than 100 NBA games were also given air time on the league’s flagship network, NBA TV during the 2023-2024 season. While those networks air about 40 percent of Warrior’s games, NBC Sports Bay Area is the home to most GSW matches. Here’s a look at where you can find these channels on the major live TV streaming services.

Unlike other streaming services, you need to rent equipment to access DISH service. However, given the generous number of channels, getting a satellite installed for free may be worth it. There are currently three DISH plans that cost between $84.99 and $114.99 per month. As for Warriors coverage, DISH offers ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV in its lineup, but lacks NBC Sports Bay Area.
DISH has some pretty appealing features, including 2,000 hours of DVR space, a 2-year price guarantee and the ability to automatically skip commercials for some programming. And, sports fans are spoiled for choice.
DISH offers networks like Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, NHL Network, ESPN 2, PAC-12 Network and SEC Network. For $13 per month, Dubs fans can also access the Multi-Sport Pack. This extra has NFL RedZone, Fox Sports 2, ACC Network, and about a dozen other networks geared toward sports fans.
DIRECTV STREAM is one of only two services that offer complete Golden State coverage for the 2023-24 NBA season. It’s not cheap, though — you’ll need to upgrade to the Choice plan to get all five channels plus over 100 more, and that costs $115.98 a month.
Even with the price, many Dubs fans may find this is their best option. Plans include unlimited DVR storage and simultaneous streams at home, so everyone in the family can watch and record the Warriors and their favorite programs without stepping on each other’s toes. With more than 15 sports-focused channels in the Choice plan and excellent regional coverage, it’s one of our top picks for streaming live sports. Even fans outside the Bay Area can add NBA League Pass for $14.99 a month to watch Warriors games right within their subscription.
Fubo isn’t quite as good as DIRECTV STREAM for Warriors coverage, but it comes close. Plus, its overall sports lineup is so good that it may be worth it, even if you have to miss a few Dubs games. The only missing channel for the Warriors is TNT, and that network only covers a handful of Warriors games.
The Pro plan includes ABC, ESPN and NBC Sports Bay Area, plus around 30 other sports-focused channels and 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage — all for $79.99 a month plus a regional sports fee of up to $13.99 a month. If you want to add NBA TV, you can upgrade for between $7.99 and $10.99 a month, depending on which option you choose. Like DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo also offers NBA League Pass for $14.99 a month, and this is a great way to watch all regional Warriors games if you live outside the San Francisco market.
Hulu + Live TV isn’t known for offering regional sports networks (RSNs), but it comes through in this case. Other than NBA TV, you can find every channel featuring Golden State this season here, including NBC Sports Bay Area.
Although the omission of NBA TV may disappoint some fans, Hulu + Live TV has so much to offer that it’s tough to pass up. Subscriptions start at $76.99 a month, and all plans include more than 90 live channels, plus full access to ESPN Plus and the Hulu and Disney Plus libraries. That’s far more high-quality on-demand content than other live TV services offer, not to mention loads of extra sports coverage on ESPN Plus. There’s a reason this is our top pick for fans who want an all-in-one streaming package.
Sling TV is the only live TV sports streaming service that doesn’t offer NBC Sports Bay Area, and that may put it out of the running for some Dubs fans. However, given this platform’s price point and customizability, we still think it’s worth a closer look — especially given how often the Warriors are on national TV. If you’re streaming on a budget, this is a great way to do it.
For instance, a subscription to Sling Orange with the Sports Extra add-on is a budget-friendly way to watch a lot of Golden State games along with other top entertainment. For only $51 a month, you’ll have access to ESPN, TNT and NBA TV, plus more sports on ESPN2 and ESPN3. In some markets, including San Francisco, you can even get ABC, FS1 and NFL Network if you upgrade to Sling Orange & Blue for an extra $19 a month. Plans also include 50 hours of cloud DVR storage so you can record some games or shows you have to miss.
Besides DIRECTV STREAM, YouTube TV is the only other streaming service to feature every Golden State matchup this season. Like Hulu + Live TV, this platform doesn’t usually feature RSNs, but that’s not the case with NBC Sports Bay Area.
The base YouTube TV plan, which costs $72.99 a month, features one of the best channel packages you can find. You’ll get more than 110 channels, including ABC, ESPN, TNT, NBA TV and NBC Sports Bay Area. It offers an impressive mix of news, entertainment and sports, plus unlimited cloud DVR storage and a wide range of add-ons. For fans who can’t miss a Dubs game this season, it’s a much cheaper option than its closest competitor. Plus, fans who live outside San Francisco can add NBA League Pass for $14.99 a month and still catch every game.
Bay Area fans who have NBC Sports Bay Area are good as gold when it comes to watching their team all season long. If you’ve moved away, however, your access to games gets cut in half. Die-hard fans can benefit from an NBA League Pass subscription. This is the league’s all-access over-the-top service with regular and premium plans for watching out-of-market matchups.
For $99 a season or $14.99 a month, you can watch every NBA matchup not airing in your local market or on national TV. A Premium Plan costs $149.99 per season or $22.99 per month and includes in-arena streams. There’s also a single-team plan available for $89.99, and you can use that to watch only Dubs games. You can purchase this service directly through the NBA, via DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo or YouTube TV, or through other NBA partners such as Amazon and Roku.
The best services for Dubs fans in the Bay Area are DIRECT STREAM, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV. These live streaming services have NBC Sports Bay Area available, giving fans access to both local and nationally-aired games. For fans living out-of-market, NBA League Pass can supplement national coverage.
If you have a cable antenna, you’ll be able to tap into ABC games for free. You can also sign up for a free trial with some streaming services, including DIRECTV STREAM, to get free coverage for a limited time.
DIRECT STREAM, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV have NBC Sports Bay Area in their lineups. These services are available on a month-to-month contract, so you can sign up for a certain sports season if you don’t need coverage all year long.
