In 2019, the Toronto Raptors had a breakout season, winning not only their first conference championship but a historic NBA championship as well. It was a banner year for the expansion team that joined the league in 1995. However, the team hasn’t been able to replicate their success. They missed the playoffs in the pandemic-shortened season and lost in the first round of the 2022 playoffs. They also lost some key players along the way, including Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry.
In the 2023-24 season, the Raptors have not fared much better. They are currently near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, with a record below .500. The team has also been riddled with injuries to players RJ Barrett, Chris Boucher, Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, DJ Carton and Bruce Brown. With less than a month until the end of the regular season, will the Raptors be able to turn things around? Read on to find out how you can follow their quest to return to former glory with satellite or live TV streaming platforms.
Watching the Toronto Raptors is going to require some extra commitment from fans from the United States. The games are not as easily accessible stateside as they are north of the border.
Canadian fans can catch all Raptors games on local channels TSN Direct or Sportsnet. There are far fewer games available across channels in the U.S., including ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV. All is not lost though. An NBA League Pass subscription is the best option for enjoying the Raptors outside of Canada.

DISH Network offers one of the most comprehensive collections of channels in the cable and satellite game, with a slew of options across four power-packed plans. America’s Top 120 features 190 channels for $84.99 per month, including ABC, ESPN and TNT. This means that subscribers can watch all the nationally televised games. Unfortunately, there aren’t any more Toronto Raptors games on tap on these channels for the rest of the season. But all is not lost. You can purchase the Multi-Sport Pack add-on for Raptors games on NBA TV. Subscribers can also upgrade to America’s Top 200 plan, which features NBA TV among its 240-plus channels for out-of-market game coverage. Another option is an NBA League Pass subscription to bolster your package.
If you live in the U.S. and want to stream every single Raptors matchup this season, DIRECTV STREAM offers one of the simplest ways to do it. With a subscription to the Choice plan for $108.99 a month, you’ll have every U.S. network airing national NBA games in 2023-24.
To add the rest of the Raptors games to your plan, you’ll need to opt for the NBA League Pass add-on for an extra $14.99 a month. It’s not the cheapest option, but it offers a nice all-in-one package for Raptors fans and includes more than 105 channels full of sports, news and entertainment. You’ll also have unlimited cloud DVR storage and simultaneous streams at home, so it’s great for a large household.
Fubo offers a less expensive way for U.S.-based Raptors fans to watch every game this season. You won’t get TNT, so that excludes a little bit of national coverage, but you may find that Fubo’s extensive range of other sports coverage and entertainment far outweighs this gap.
With Fubo’s Pro plan, you’ll get ABC and ESPN, plus around 30 other sports channels, including any regional sports networks (RSNs) in your area, and 1,000 hours of cloud DVR. At $79.99 a month plus a regional sports fee of up to $13.99 a month, this is much less expensive than DIRECTV STREAM.
The price can add up if you want to get every Raptors game, though. Adding NBA TV costs anywhere from $7.99 to $10.99 a month, depending on which option you choose, and NBA League Pass is an extra $14.99 a month. Still, this is our go-to option for sports-loving cord-cutters.
Fubo is available in Canada, but don’t get too excited just yet. The service’s Canadian plans don’t include access to Sportsnet, TSN or any U.S. networks showing Raptors games.
Hulu + Live TV doesn’t include much Raptors coverage for 2023-24, but this impressive streaming platform has a lot to offer — and a way to build an affordable plan for watching every game in the U.S.
For $76.99 a month, Hulu + Live TV includes more than 90 live TV channels, including ABC, ESPN, and TNT for a lot of NBA action and one Raptors game. You also get access to ESPN Plus, Disney Plus and Hulu’s excellent on-demand library for tons of extra content and live sports, all with unlimited DVR storage. From there, you can purchase NBA TV and NBA League Pass through a service like Amazon Prime and get access to every Raptors game for the 2023-24 season. This comes in at just under $100 a month and provides an impressive all-in-one streaming plan that includes the best of live TV and on-demand content.
Sling TV offers an even more budget-friendly way to keep up with the Raptors this season. If you live in the U.S., it’s possible to pair this service with NBA League Pass and catch every game.
The cheapest way to do it is to subscribe to Sling Orange with the Sports Extra add-on. For $51 a month, you’ll get NBA TV and TNT, plus more NBA action on ESPN and a lot of other sports coverage. You can then subscribe directly to NBA League Pass for $14.99 a month and never miss a tip-off. Sling plans come with 50 hours of DVR, so you can even record games you can’t watch live. If you want to add even more sports and entertainment, you can upgrade to Sling Orange & Blue for an extra $15 per month.
YouTube TV is another excellent option for U.S.-based Raptors fans who want to stream the team’s matchups this season. Its base plan includes ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV for a full docket of NBA coverage. With unlimited cloud DVR, you never have to miss your favorite shows or any must-see action.
You’ll also get more than 110 other channels for one of the best lineups of sports, news and entertainment offered by any streaming platform. And YouTube TV offers NBA League Pass as an add-on for $14.99 a month. With that, you can stream every Raptors game in one place for less than $90 a month. For a cable-like plan with a reasonable price, this may be the best option.
It can be a bit tough for Toronto Raptors fans in the U.S. to keep up with the team without access to Canadian channels like TSN Direct or Sportsnet. ABC, ESPN and TNT only allow viewing of nationally televised games, which are typically few and far between for the Raptors. In that case, your best course of action is an NBA League Pass subscription, which is essentially a backstage pass to all the action.
You can watch every game outside your home market starting at $14.99 per month. In addition to live and on-demand coverage, viewers have a full 24 hours of non-stop professional basketball. There’s also a $22.99 per month option, which allows users to watch commercial-free programming and simultaneous streaming on up to three devices. So, if you love the deep dives into stats and analysis, in addition to season-long coverage of your favorite teams, NBA League Pass is worth the investment. If you want to buy a subscription, you can do so through DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, YouTube TV or the NBA.com website.
Fubo subscribers can watch nationally televised Raptors games on ABC and ESPN. Unfortunately, TNT is not included in the package. You can also supplement your subscription with a sports add-on that includes NBA TV or purchase NBA League Pass as a premium add-on.
With a regular Fubo plan, you will have very limited access to nationally televised NBA games. However, you have the option to purchase an add-on to unlock NBA TV or NBA League Pass.
Within the United States, nationally televised Raptors games are available on ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV. In Canada, fans can catch every game of the Raptors schedule on TSN Direct or Sportsnet.
