The young guard has officially taken over in the NFL! With stars such as Micah Parsons and C.J. Stroud taking over the NFL in the last season or two, they have become a fan favorite. It comes as no surprise that they are being marketed and portrayed as the next face of the NFL. Recently, the duo was in Tokyo as part of an exposure trip sponsored by Gridiron Imports.
Micah Parsons and C.J. Stroud were invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Tokyo Dome at the Tokyo Giants game. Ideally, Parsons is supposed to be better at throwing the pitch, considering that he is stronger than Stroud. Well, one would be in for a rude awakening as his throw ended up falling short and bounced before it could be caught by the catcher.
C.J. Stroud proved that a quarterback’s arm generates immense power and accuracy, enough to leave a defensive end to shame. Both the young QBs are immensely competitive and Parsons had jokes as he called out the Houston Texans QB for cheating on his throw.
He was way further back than the pitcher, he was further back, that was illegitimate... My pitcher was further back, I didn't have a pinpoint, like you know how they say, you got to look at the mound, he not even over the plate. Micah Parsons said

Stroud was quick to shut Parsons down as he asked him to go take a look at the tape.
C.J. Stroud and Micah Parsons engaged in competitive banter after the defensive end fell short on his throw
C.J. Stroud called out the defensive end for making excuses rather than just admitting that he threw a bad first pitch. The duo has been having a lot of fun on their trip to Asia, recently, they tried their hand at sumo wrestling. For the defensive end of the Dallas Cowboys, it was a trip down memory lane as he has a history of being a wrestler when he was younger.
The popularity of Micah Parsons and C.J. Stroud continues to grow. While the former has established himself as one of the best defensive players in the NFL, the latter is just coming off of a great rookie season.
Stroud has made a huge impact on the Texans in his first season and this off-season, the team has added more impactful players. On offense, he now has Stefon Diggs as his primary receiver, the expectations are sky-high for the Texans and it will be fascinating to see how things pan out for the team.
