Following the Colorado Avalanche’s first-round victor over Winnipeg, head coach Jared Bednar answered questions on Jonathan Drouin‘s status.
Asked if Drouin would make his playoff debut for the Avalanche in round two, Coach Bednar responded, “It fits the timeline. He’s got a long way to go because he hasn’t hit the ice yet. He’s still working on his rehab. The timeline was 4 weeks or less. We’re still hoping for that. He’s making progress…We’ll see how long that other series goes and just how much time we have.”
The Avalanche hope to see Drouin when Colorado faces either the Vegas Golden Knights or Dallas Stars following the conclusion of their first-round series.
