All of our Summer Showcases will include an instruction segment led by current College Coaches. Committed schools at our summer events include
Illinois, Illinois State, Valparaiso, St Louis, Southern Illinois, Bradley, Ball State, Illinois Springfield, Evansville, Northern Illinois, Heartland, Lakeland, McKendree and Eastern Illinois.
The list will be added to and updated as we get closer to each event. All coaches will also be present for the showcase portion of the event.
Position players will be evaluated and receive measurables in the 60 yard dash, exit velocity from a tee and arm velocity. Catchers will also have their pop times recorded. We will video each player during their defensive evaluation, live batting practice and the 60 yard dash. All video will be loaded into each Players Profile.
Pitchers will be evaluated and receive measurables during a 15 pitch bullpen. This will include velocity and spin rate on all pitches. We will video each pitcher during their bullpen with all video being loaded into each Players Profile.
Trackman will be used on live batting practice providing exit speed, distance traveled, launch angle and direction plus more. Trackman also will be used on the bullpen sessions providing velocity, spin rate, spin axis release height and much more.
