Caitlin Clark's college career did not end as she had hoped, but she won't have to wait long to get her professional career underway. On Monday, Clark is expected to go No. 1 overall to the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft. The league is certainly ready to welcome their new star, as 36 of the Fever's 40 regular-season games will be on national TV. It may not be smooth sailing for college basketball's all-time leading scorer from the get-go, but Clark is a phenomenon on and off the court, and she will no doubt be bringing many new eyeballs to the league when the 2024 season gets underway on May 14.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Since its inception in 1997, the WNBA has seen 28 draft picks go first overall, counting the inaugural season's Elite draft, which selected already graduated players who had already been playing professionally on other American teams or overseas. So with that in mind, how many of these 28 players can you name?
Good luck!
