Five quarterbacks were selected in the top 15 picks of the 2021 NFL Draft. Just three years later, four of the five have been traded to new teams.
On Monday, the New York Jets sent former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson to the Denver Broncos for a late-round pick swap. The trade brings a merciful end to the Wilson era in NYC, but his role in Sean Payton's offense is still up in the air. Denver is one of the teams which may trade up to select a QB on Thursday and also still have incumbent starter Jared Stidham on the roster as well. A season (or two) of sitting on the bench couldn't hurt the 24-year-old, as he now projects to be more of a career backup than NFL starter for the foreseeable future.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. In honor of Wilson landing in a new spot, we want to see how many of the second QBs selected in every NFL Draft since 1984 you can name in five minutes.
Good luck!
